Las ideas preconcebidas son difíciles
de contradecir y por ello, el concepto
de “enterotoxemia” tan arraigado
en Francia, permanece en vigor
aunque un gran número de
productores de ganado porcino reconocen
que esta enfermedad aparece,
muy a menudo, después de que el
animal hubiese sufrido una torsión intestinal.
Por ello, es fácil que los productores
acepten aplicar medidas
profilácticas contra la enterotoxemia
(higiene, antibióticos, etc) aunque serán
más reacios a incorporar una
adecuada profilaxis contra el SDIP.
